Hyundai HR head drove his own way

A statement issued by HMIL acknowledged Mr Ramesh’s immense contribution from its very inception till date. His stepping down will be an irreparable loss to the company, it said. When contacted, Mr Ramesh told ET that he decided to step down to pursue some of his personal ambitions, which includes getting a doctorate. He is likely to take up advisory roles with large corporates. Mr Ramesh was one of the first few employees of the company when it was incorporated in 1995-96. HMIL now employs close to 9,000 employees—both direct and indirect.
